What is Rental Resident?
Rental Resident is dedicated to improving both the social and the financial experience of renting an apartment for over 30 million "Rental Residents" nationwide. Our goal is to provide a better way for you to find your next apartment by connecting you with people who can provide you with unbiased answers to your questions. Rental Resident provides valuable information gathered from the opinions and experiences of the people who know best - the renters. It's also a great way to meet people in your area and get money towards the purchase of a home, car, vacation, furniture and other great deals.
It seems like I can only trade in my points towards a new home?
Coming soon you'll also be able to trade in your points on discounts towards cars, vacations, furniture, and other great deals.
What is the Rental Rewards Points program?
The Rental Rewards Points program enables registered users to collect Points over time for doing things like paying your rent and helping build the Rental Resident community. These Points can be later be used towards the purchase of a home, car, vacation, furniture and other great stuff.
How can I earn Rewards Points?
Rewards Points can be earned by entering your rent each month, adding business reviews, uploading pictures of apartments, and inviting your friends to join Rental Resident.
How can I redeem my Rewards Points?
Reward Points can be redeemed from the "My Offers" tab on your profile page. If you are having trouble finding this section, sign-in and click the on "My Page" tab at the top of the home page. Next click the "My Offers" tab. You should see all current offers available to you listed.
How do I see what offers are currently available to me?
All currently available offers are listed in your "My Offers" tab on your profile page. If you are having trouble finding this section, sign-in and click the on "My Page" tab at the top of the home page. Next click the "My Offers" tab. Simply click on the offer you wish to redeem your points for and you will be guided through the rest of the process.
How do I see how many Points I currently have?
Your current Points amount is listed on the "My Account" tab of your profile page. Simply sign in and click "My Page" at the top of the page and then choose the "My Account" tab to view Your Rewards Points account history.
Do my Rewards Points expire?
Yes, your points expire three years from date of issuance.
Can I trade in Points for cash?
No, you trade them in for discounts on items that you want to buy.
How do I search for apartments?
You can begin searching by clicking the search tab and entering your search or going directly to the search textbox (if available) at the top-right corner and directly enter your search.
How do I sort my search results?
You can change the way your search results are sorted by clicking on the dropdown-list above the list of apartments found, options include A-Z, Z-A, and by zip code.
What if my apartment isn't listed?
If your apartment is not listed on Rental Resident, simply sign-in and to our listings.
I am an apartment manager. How do I add my apartment to Rental Resident?
If the apartment/apartment building you manage is not listed on Rental Resident, simply sign-in and to our listings.
How do I post a business review?
To , simply sign in and enter the required business information/review and click "Add Business".
How do I find businesses in my area?
Businesses in your area may be found by searching for your city or zip code, and then clicking on the "Around the Area" tab.
I searched for a business on the map and nothing happened. What should I do?
If a business isn't listed on Rental Resident, you can by signing-in and entering the required business information/review and click "Add Business".
How do I view properties on the map?
To view a property on the map, simply click on the "Find on Map" icon and your choice will be highlighted on the map.
How often is Rental Resident updated?
Rental Resident users are constantly updating the site through messages, new business reviews, and new apartment listings as well.
Where do the listings on Rental Resident come from?
Rental Resident listings come from users like you who add their apartments to our listings. Our search engine is also constantly finding and adding new apartment listings from all over the web.
